I am so excited as of what happened on Sunday!
Its so nice working in a big organization like PETRONAS I almost regret all the complaints I made. *SOweee..*
Yesterday I had the chance to attend to Le Tour de Langkawi final stage/closing at the Dataran Merdeka …
…as one of the VIPs from PETRONAS!!! CENG CENG CENG CENG!
.....cause we are one of the main sponsor for the event. Hehehe.
I tell you, it feels so good being a VIP and sitting at the Grand Stand while everyone else were under the blazing hot sun!
That was not the best part of the story.
The best part was I had the opportunity to go on the race in one of the official car!!!! Jealous or not?! Neh, the ones where they follow the cyclist from the back with more than 50 police bikes and broadcast cameras.
Actually we were only watching the race like every other VIPS from TM, MILO, PROTON and ambassadors form countries like Japan but when the race started, me and one of my executive Keena got so excited we started moving forward , shouting and creaming among other VIPs.
At one point, after the first lap, one of the Perdana stop right below the VIP stage and some peple came out of it. Me and Keena quickly exchanged look. She smiled and asked “Joyce, wanna go on the ride?”
And I went “YAH YAH YAH!! NAKKKKKKKK”
“JOMM!!” she said.
Then Keena shouted at Mr Maniam the gatekeeper of the VIP’s stand and the Vehicles.
“Mr Maniam…..Hi!!”
Then we gave a long broad smile to him and pointed at one of the car when he saw us. He must have got what we meant..
“Come down here!” he said while signaling us to get down to the gate between the VIP stage and the racing track.
Anyway, did you guys watch the race on tv??? Or was it ven on tv? haha
If it is, did u see me getting into the black Perdana or while I was shouting like crazy in the grand stand among other VIPs? I thought it might be quite obvious.
Speaking of media, ESPN was there too to cover the event. How cool?!
So freaking many medias and they were even further from the cyclist than I am.hehe, plus they don’t even get to go on the race!
I WIN!
WAOOOOO….. I was so trilled when I walked towards on of the vehicle by the side of the track, a black Perdana with lots of sponsor stickers.
There were so many spectators on both side of the tracks watching us getting into the vehicle!
It was like coming down the red carper except that i was in the car. Haha
We stopped and waited till we see the cyclist came for the 2nd lap and shoot off behind to follow the race!
It was so darn fun sitting in the car tailing the race while everyone else is watching with envy. The entire route for the race from Dataran Merdeka all the way passing trough KLCC, the road by Renaissance Hotel and Masjid Jamek were blocked with curious visitors and publics standing along the route. There were also a massive jam spotted on the opposite directions. HAHA.
After 1 lap of joyride, we were stopped at the initial point again and there, we stood behind the bars and watched the race. We were so close, I can even touch the cyclist if I want! But I don’t wanna be captured by the media as molesting the cyclist.
I think the 4 of us from PETRONAS was the most outstanding ones among the VVIPs and VIPs cause instead of sitting quietly on the stage, we were way down the stage by the bar behaving like some jakuns.
I snapped a million pictures and took a video on the finishing point of the race! How brilliant!
What else I like about the race?
The good looking guys and the sexy attire they wore that emphasize on…*erhemz*. Muahahahahaha. *evil laugh*
My personal favorite was the Korean team with the leader name Park something…and this Japanese dude with name similar to Ajinamoto (not the real name). He was so cute when they had him to speak on the stage. He said something like “ SA-YA SUKA MALAYSIA-K!” ”SU-KAA PEDAS! SUKA PANAS!” in his tiny cute girlish voice. Then when the emcee asked him how bout the girls “WANITA?”, he answered “SUKA!, SAYA SUKA WANITA” “ TAP-PI, SAYA BUK-KAN BUAYA!”
LMAO.
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE………………………………….
ITS SO COOLLL… its so COOL, it’s a once in a lifestyle experience!
