New semester

A new semester has just begun and its the second day of lecture.

Lecturers seems like they are speaking greek and lecture seems forever.
Dont know if it's only me but i had a feeling this sem's gonna be a real difficult one..

Coursework's sums up to 50% for certain subjects and mid term were taken off. Shall i call it bad or good?
Probably good news to those who can score in grp assignments.. but looking at the past, i doubt so. Mid term seems better in a way.

Now that new semester is here, assignements are also on its way. So sick of the word assignments. So sick of chosing groups. i shall just wait to be chosen.

Somehow i have already got myself a group which solve quite alot of problem thinking who to chose and bla bla bla... i don't want to make any decisions in chosing group members. I personally think it's a very cruel thing to do. Rejection is hard.

some people think it's very kiasu and all to have chosen a group this early. But somehow i think it its quite proper. Perhaps its what you call planning. I say : A well begun is half done.

You'll have to chose, sooner or later. Its just the matter of time.

My advice; chose group members who share the same goals as yours and perhaps try working with different people. However, there's no guarantee working with a different group would promise a better outcome and that i know. Well, we'll just need to learn from the experiences through decisions made.

I believe none wants to lose their friends and ruin their your friendship over assignments. and trust me. It's not worth it.

i've witness other group members who argued over assignments and no longer in good terms.

I can't deny, for the last semester had troubles working with my group members as well... just like many other groups.Like i said it wasnt because one is smarter and another is dumb. It's not about me being kiasu and i wanted to be the best. No doubt all of us have different capabilites and not to mention, different goal to persue. I personally think that the different goals we had lead to the many problems and discomfort between all of us.
But lucky enough we had things talked over and everything well ended.

I am not complaining about anything. I'm just glad that i have a wonderful bunch of friends who i can hang out with and talk to and i seriously do not wish to have assignments and workload having ruin the friendship. I hope they'll understand my position and i beleive they do.
